Bodarks Revival
“It’s a porch-stompin’, fiddle-sawin’, bass-spankin’ hootenanny,” says Lifestyle Frisco. The Bodarks are “a genre-creating string band from around the Metroplex,” according to Buddy Magazine, with “their own unique Americana music.” And they've been likened to Old Crow Medicine Show, Pokey LaFarge, and The Avett Brothers (KHYI 95.3FM, “The Range,” Dallas).

Kyle Reed
Born and raised in the San Antonio area, Kyle Reed grew up surrounded by all things rock n roll. Among the favorites list were bands like AC/DC and Van Halen, Staind and Alice in Chains. It wasn’t until high school that Kyle found Cross Canadian Ragweed and the Turnpike Troubadours, leading to a shift in musical taste. He started playing and writing music in his sophomore year of high school, and started a band after leaving for College Station. After 4 years of playing country music, Kyle’s taste gradually came back to rock. Now he’s out on his own, with a new sound that’s deep, honest, authentic, and unapologetic. Combining the red dirt flavor of Ragweed with the heavy angst and hard hitting lyrics of Three Days Grace, Kyle finds his sound in his debut record ‘Toxic’, 10 songs written from the deepest parts of his heart.

Christopher Wright

High school and college were hastened by good times and trouble. Those days flew by like a Ford Mercury fresh off the line. Christopher was a bit of a hell-raiser in his younger days. Had a few run-ins with the law. “I got sidetracked with fast living, illegal shit, and shortcuts. Addiction made my straight lines into circles. Life was all fun and games until it wasn’t. I never shot anybody’s dog or anything, but I surely danced with the devil. After a few cold nights in county, I woke the hell up. Then it was the warm light of God”s word that guided me back to the light. In my desperation I found a deeper appreciation for everything I was losing.”
In 2016 Christopher was diagnosed with acute liver failure. “That brought me to my knees. “Christopher credits his faith to getting him sober. And music for saving his life.Christopher’s voice is deep, direct, and steady like a locomotive. His music will no doubt resonate with folks who are seeking light in the dark.
